Encina Royale

A Closer Look

Encina Royale's expansive lawns and nine-hole pitch-and-putt course reflect its midcentury Southern California character. Mature ginkgo, silk floss trees, and unusually large duranta shrubs give the community an established landscape that calls for thoughtful care. Kitson uses natural pruning techniques to preserve the health and form of these specimens.

Golf-course maintenance includes close attention to unwanted weed grasses on the greens, while the established sprinkler system requires careful oversight for even coverage and efficient watering. A central lagoon is fed by two private wells; the same well-water system irrigates the golf course, common turf areas, and parkway strips. Managing these different landscape elements is central to our work here.
