A Closer Look

Riviera Park's century-old buildings and established gardens give the grounds a character that takes generations to develop. Highlights include the grand staircase rising from Alameda Padre Serra and a sprawling tea tree whose sculptural branches fill a corner of the courtyard at the 2020 building. Working with ownership and property management, Kitson has helped restore the beauty of this historic landscape.

Our care also responds to how people use the grounds. Around the onsite childcare facility, we give particular attention to plant selection, treatment decisions, and the heavily used playground lawn. Removing spiny plants from nearby beds is one example of how we adapt landscape care to the needs of the people who spend time here.
